April 4th, Pt. B - Shibuya

That will be a short one. Shibuya was a total letdown for me. The famous crossing only looks so crowded on the usual time lapse overhead shots. From ground level on a normal day it looked busy, but nothing special in Tokyo. Shibuya is probably nice if you wanna go brand shopping or be ripped off by the pimps in Roppongi.  I didn't plan on either, so.. well.. I left after taking a shot of Hachiko, the faithful dog with his own monument.

After this slight disappointment I scrapped the plan to go to Shinjuku, since it is essentially the same, but with 2 ripoff areas, Kabukicho and Golden gai. I read you can party hard here. Still not on my agenda, so instead I rode back to Ueno and entered Ameyoko. Which you can read about in the next post.
