The departure looms ever nearer..

Only one day to go and that lump in my stomach is starting to relax.

Tonight the time shift to DST and tomorrow shortly after noon I will take the ICE to Frankfurt. I just hope Deutsche Bahn manages this time to not be a complete and utter nuisance.

Today I wandered around the village in the sun for the last time and shot some pics on auto mode to test the UV filter and the sun flare protection.

The parsonage and the castle church from the street side.
The old huntinglodge which also belongs to the local castle.

A view down the old B4. On full wide angle the lens shade gets visible.

The castle church over the park wall.

At the park entrance with the castle (or rather mansion) in view.
The first blue liverwort at the stone crate which used to be the well for the mansion.

The huge old sycamore which is probably doomed since an investor wants to
build some subsidized shit into the swamp down there.

The castle church as seen from the park.
A really nice mix of springy blues and greens.

Last but not least the plum blossoms started in our garden.
A nice preparation for all the cherry blossoms waiting to be watched in Japan!
